About

Ever since I lived in Paris in 2012, the city has been very special to me. Each year, I have returned several times, learning to know it from the inside. Discovering how Parisians spend their everyday lives. Finding out what they adore – and dislike – about their home town. Falling in love with my own favourite places and things to do.

This blog is dedicated to slow living in Paris. To hidden gems, narrow streets, and local restaurants. To all the young entrepreneurs who are giving Paris a new vibe, through their tiny wine bars, handcraft boutiques, art, and vintage shops. And to the way the city is changing, as it is turning into a calmer, hipper, more pedestrian-friendly, sustainable place.

My goal it to inspire you to see Paris in a new way. Remind you to look up at the pretty facades when you are wandering the streets. Learn you to bring a book and put down your phone when you sitting at a terrace with the Parisians. Challenge you to skip the sightseeing and shopping streets. Spend the time as you would do in your home town on a Sunday. Relax, use your senses, forget about the time and what people have told you to see.

That’s when you get the best of Paris.
